Our Vision

As global citizens, we are committed to reaching climate neutrality by 2050. At Scoptvision, we recognize that simply expanding renewable energy and electrifying our consumption won’t be enough to meet this goal.

The greatest challenge lies in deploying smart, scalable software that can seamlessly align the energy consumption of all our devices with the fluctuating production of renewable power.

Our Mission

That’s why we’ve set out to create one of Europe’s largest virtual batteries, without the need to build one. Leading to a world where every EV charger operates as part of an intelligent, interconnected ecosystem, ensuring no green energy goes to waste.

ScoptVision Who we are

Meet The Founders:

Kristof and Lars, the founders of Scoptvision, have known each other for years. In 2022, their paths aligned when energy optimization became more urgent than ever. With deep experience in building management systems and product development, they joined forces to tackle one of the biggest challenges in the energy transition: making home EV smart charging truly smart & scalable for ChargePointOperators

Together, they built a team in Leuven, one of Europe’s most innovative cities, home to the renowned KU Leuven university and global tech leaders like Imec.

Backed by seasoned SaaS investors

Scoptvision is backed by JK Invest, a Belgian venture capital holding specialized in B2B SaaS startups and scale-ups. They joined the company in 2025, bringing deep experience and a diverse portfolio of companies with customers across Europe and North America

Built in Belgium | Ready to conquer Europe

Belgium’s strict energy regulations pushed us to build one of Europe’s most advanced smart charging platforms. Since 2022, new legislation made home energy optimization mandatory. Features like residential peak shaving and reduced incentives for power injection gave Scoptvision a head start. Our algorithms don’t just respond to today’s grid—they anticipate tomorrow’s.
