With increasingly decentralized energy, our electricity grid is facing a major challenge. Consumers are generating more local solar energy and are also starting to use more large electrical devices such as EVs, heat pumps, and home battery systems.
As a result, it’s becoming harder to keep our electricity grid balanced. In an ideal scenario, we can fully align consumption with production by intelligently controlling adjustable consumers.

The smart installations represented by this first wave of partners have a combined installed capacity of 20 MW, equivalent to about 4,000 home batteries or the power output of eight wind turbines. This allows the platform to use residential flexibility to help balance our electricity grid.
Our software will primarily ensure that end customers are not burdened with the complexity. Our algorithm will always calculate the most cost-efficient charging session for them, taking into account local solar production, peak consumption, energy contracts, and integration with the balancing market.
